Working as an editor since 2003, Leah has experience at all levels of the process, from substantive and assignment editing to copyediting and proofreading.

Book manuscripts, brochure layouts, newspaper articles, magazine proofs and online-only texts have all fallen under her purview.

Custom writing projects have included series of brief biographies, gallery-commissioned essays and more.

Editing clients have included the City of Toronto Economic Development & Culture Division, the Contact Photography Festival, the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation, Spacing Magazine, the Ontario College of Art and Design and YYZ Books, among other organizations.

Leah's professional development in this area has been supported by formal training in copyediting, line editing, substantive editing and feature writing at Ryerson University’s Chang School and at Editors Canada workshops.
